South Carolina Bakers

South Carolina Director of Bakery Operations, Erin Caldwell, could not be prouder of her hardworking and talented team. Greg, Jordan, and Teresa are all a part of this amazing team of bakers. Greg started working at the Downtown Charleston, SC café and was shortly promoted to Bakery Training Specialist. “I was fortunate enough to become a member of the best team in the world!” said Greg. I genuinely love my job and enjoy working with the bakers in Charleston. I was recently promoted to the Bakery Market Manager position, and I have realized it’s not bad climbing mountains when they are made of bread!” Greg has an extremely positive attitude and says he comes to work everyday thinking he wants to make the best product in the world for Panera customers.

Jordan Thompson has been working as a baker since May of 2020. In the past year she’s been a huge asset to the baking team, working at all 6 Charleston cafes as well as assisting in the Myrtle Beach and Savannah markets. “Jordan goes above and beyond at any cafe she works,” said Erin, “We are extremely lucky to have her.”

Teresa just recently joined the baking team within the past year, and she has already climbed the ranks to her current position of Bakery Market Manager for Myrtle Beach and Florence, SC. She started as an hourly associate at our Surfside café in Myrtle and worked her way up to an Assistant Manager position. Teresa has been apart of several pro-teams, helping to open new cafes all over the South Carolina and Georgia market including Dorchester Rd. in Charleston, Killian Rd. in Columbia, and Grovetown in Augusta. She also served on the pro team in Mason, Ohio and helped roll out a new type of oven for Panera in the Columbia market. Teresa has been successful in training multiple new bakers for the Myrtle Beach market and has done an outstanding job hiring and coaching. As Myrtle Beach Director of Operations, Karlena Thomas, said “Teresa is a breath of fresh air.”
